Hi, I am Mike Zimmerman. I grew up in the Springfield Township area and graduated from St. Xavier High School.

I earned a Bachelor's Degree from Ohio State and attended the University of Cincinnati for Law School. There I graduated 11th in my class of 122, earning academic honors.

Shortly after passing the Ohio State Bar exam, I was called to active duty in the United States Marine Corps in October of 2002. I attended Naval Justice School and where I was, again, an honor graduate. I was the chief prosecuting attorney of Marine Corps Air Station New River for three years before moving on to a supervisory capacity over other attorneys as the Military Justice Officer.

I prosecuted numerous felony matters, ranging from rape and aggravated assault to drug crimes and computer crimes, often working with NCIS and FBI agents to ensure that cases were investigated fully and ready for trial.

After a combat tour in Iraq, I returned to Cincinnati in 2007 and accepted a position as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Hamilton County. I practiced in the Municipal Division of the Prosecutors office for two years, where the main focus of my duties was DUI prosecutions.

As a prosecutor I have handled thousands of cases through all phases of trial and have well over 300 trials under my belt. I am experienced in virtually every aspect of the criminal law, having represented the United States and the State of Ohio as a prosecutor for seven years.

While my inside knowledge and experience is certainly a benefit, having also served two combat tours in Iraq, you can rest assured that my physical and moral courage will be unwaivering in my representation of you.
