Mark Wieczorek

Mark Wieczorek is a former Hamilton County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney returning to private practice. He will focus his practice on criminal defense at both the misdemeanor and felony levels, and domestic relations. Mr. Wieczorek served as a first chair attorney in over 1,000 criminal matters with full oversight of initial investigations, trial planning, motions, discovery, legal research and courtroom appearances. He has tried over 100 cases, with over a 95 percent success rate, securing adjudications in a multitude of cases including: aggravated robbery with gun specifications, felony drug possession and trafficking, gross sexual imposition and rape.

Mr. Wieczorek has analyzed forensic evidence regarding arson investigations, developing a theory of litigation based on that analysis and has secured adjudications on three separate arson trials. He has successfully argued numerous motions to suppress based on probable cause to stop, prejudicial and suggestive lineups, and violations of the defendant’s Fifth and Fourteenth Amendment rights.

In addition to his insight into the legal world, he has volunteered on several judicial campaigns. Mr. Wieczorek is licensed by the Supreme Court of Ohio, licensed to practice in the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Cincinnati Bar Association. Mr. Wieczorek received his bachelor’s degree from Wilmington College, summa cum laude, in 2000. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University in 2007.
